It looks like a new Overwatch hero Ashe has an almost comically big hit box for her head.
As u / DarkyPaky discovered, the latest addition to Overwatch may require a box box adjustment, as her is currently very noticeably oversized. It seems that not only the Ashe head hit box includes her wide brimmed hat, but it also seems to extend across her visible model completely.
Ashe has one of the minor character models in the game, but as it stands she may be one of the easiest to land a headshot at the moment – a problem for a hero with just 200 points of health.
This is not the first time there have been problems with hitboxes in Overwatch. Many of the headshot boxes lean on the big side, and there have also been cases of certain positions or movements that prevent hits from registering where they should.
Ashe was revealed as Overwatch's 29 th hero of BlizzCon, after the debut of "Reunion" animated card introduced her (and BOB, which acts as her ultimate ability).
She is currently being tested on PTR, which gives players a chance to gain practical experience with her and the developers more data to work with and an opportunity to solve problems before they loosen her on the live servers.
Although Ashe does not have an official release date yet, previous years have seen the hero reveal at BlizzCon now the live game less than two weeks after the event, which would put Ashe on track for either Tuesday, November 13 or Thursday, November 15th. .
