Will Intel's 9th CPUs Compete with AMD's 7nm CPUs?
Since AMD has released Ryzen, Intel has worked hard to compete with AMD and they have been quite successful. Intel CPUs have done much better in games when AMD Ryzen thanks to Intel's single core performance. Just around the corner are the next generations AMD and Intel CPUs, and the question is that Intel should be able to compete with AMD's 7nm CPUs in play?
Intel 9th Gen CPU Specifications and Release Date
Like all of last year, Intel is releasing a wide range of CPUs, but today we're going to focus on Intel Core i7-9700K. I7-9700k should have 8 cores / 8 threads, a boost of 4.9 GHz, a base clock of 3.6 GHz and 1
AMD Zen 2 Specs
As we now do not know much about AMD Zen 2. All we know is that it will be a 7nm CPU and come out sometime in 2019.
Gary Shapiro CEO for Consumer Technology Association said: "" In 2019, AMD catapult computing, gaming and visualization technologies will be forwarded with the world's first 7nm high performance CPUs and GPUs, providing the power required to reach the technology's next horizons. Under its CES setting, Dr. Su and guests will provide an insight into the various applications for new computer technology, ranging from solving some of the world's toughest challenges to the future of gaming, entertainment and virtual reality with the potential to redefine modern life.
It seems that Intel is going to have serious competition in the coming months, as Zen 2 becomes the first 7nm processor to beat the market. Thanks to its 7nm size Zen 2 will have better energy efficiency than its competitor, which gives it a significant advantage over Intel, especially in the portable market.
