In addition to these 19 devices, an unknown number of additional phones will also be cut off from T-Mobile with owners of the models receiving notification via SMS on 28 December.
T-Mobile offers subscribers the opportunity to replace the phone that loses T-Mobile support with one of four free models, including two Galaxy “A”
; middle classes
T-Mobile, in a leaked note sent to representatives, said that subscribers are likely to enter store sites that want to upgrade. Representatives were asked to check out the latest deals available to T-Mobile and Metro customers to sell them a brand new device. Despite that comment in the internal memo, customers received a snail email from T-Mobile dated December 18 showing four free phones that customers can choose from to replace their current handset being kicked off by T-Mobile’s network. They will have a month to choose from Samsung Galaxy A21, Samsung Galaxy A11, Alcatel Go Flip 3, or a T-Mobile REVVL 4.
T-Mobile REVVL 4 is one of the free replacement phones that T-Mobile offers its subscribers whose older phones will soon lose support in the T-Mobile network from 29 January
The The Galaxy A21 has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 and a aspect ratio of 20: 9. It is powered by Mediatek Helio P35 chipset with 3 GB memory and 32 GB storage space. The rear camera has a 16MP main camera, an ultra-wide 8MP camera, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. In front is a 13MP selfie snapper and a 4000mAh battery keeps the lights on. Samsung Galaxy A11 has a 6.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1560 and a aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. Running the phone is Snapdragon 450 with 2 GB of memory and 32 GB of storage (20.3 GB available for users). The phone has a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
The Alcatel Go Flip 3 has a 2.8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 240 x 320. The flip phone has a secondary 1.4-inch screen and is powered by the Snapdragon 210 chip. It has 0.5 GB of memory and 2 GB of storage. There is a 2MP camera available. And finally, the T-Mobile Revvl 4 is equipped with a 6.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1520 and an aspect ratio of 19: 9. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset; there is 2 GB of memory on board along with 32 GB of storage (24 GB available to users). The rear and forward cameras weigh 13MP and 5MP respectively.
Of course, you are not locked into using one of the four phones. You can always shell out some of your own money and buy a more exciting handset like Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, en OnePlus 8T or others. And we should point out that according to T-Mobile, this has nothing to do with the carrier’s requirement that all handsets used by T-Mobile and Metro subscribers must be equipped with VoLTE functions from next month.
