Another difference between the old and new iCloud Mail online is the mail composition panel, which now appears in the same window, while the old one brings the composition panel in a separate window.

While there is no word on when the new iCloud Mail online will be available to everyone, Apple is likely to switch to the new design later this year with the release of iOS 15 and other updates. To try the new iCloud Mail web app, just sign in with your Apple ID at beta.icloud.com.
