Huawei Busted for using DSLR images to showcase Nova 3 cameras

  Nova 3 Photo
Never believe what you see in online ads and television commercials. Have you ever seen a cereal commercial? It looks delicious, but it's not really milk you see in a bowl. An ordinary replacement is glue, as it does not make the grain soggy for images. Read someone needs a reminder that what you see may not really be what it claims to be, Huawei has once again been "captured" by taking a photo shot with a DSLR camera to demonstrate its smartphone camera.

The latest event involves an advertisement in Egypt for the company's Nova 3 handset. It has two key characters, one of which is actress Sarah Elshamy. In her ad, her supposed girlfriend attempts to take care of Nova 3 as she hurries to make her makeup. He snaps the picture before she has a chance, and then the ad shows a still image of the couple all dolled up and looks amazing.

The ad will demonstrate the artificial intelligence features of the camera on Nova 3. However, the still image was not taken with the phone as the image tries to mean. Elshamy unexpectedly revealed so much on the Instagram account where she sent out a series of back-scenes images from the ad campaign.

In one of the pictures (as the page has been deleted) we see the couple posing for the picture in front of what appears to be an expensive DSLR camera. The supposed girlfriend extends his arm as if he is holding Nova 3 for a selfie, just there is no phone in his hand. His bare hand stretches out of the frame, but is clearly visible in the rear view. 9659006] Is this clear marketing or a misleading representation of Nova 3? It's up to debate, anyway, this is not the first time Huawei has done something like that. Back in 2016, Huawei used a DSLR to showcase the P9 photography features, which it later apologized for.

"The photo, which was professionally taken during the filming of a Huawei P9 ad, was shared to inspire society. We realize that we should have been clearer with captions for this image. It was never our intention to mislead, "Huawei said on time.

We must wait and see if Huawei issues a similar sentence for the Nova 3 ad.
