Ever since Google announced their Tab Groups feature, I’ve used them for pretty much everything. After adding flags for tabular groups that collapse and freeze, they become something of a power tool for productivity. When I switch to my Windows desktop for some editing or game development, I’m just a little sad that these category groups have not saved after I restarted the computer, but today we will fix it. Here’s a quick tip to tell your Chrome browser to keep your tab groups across sessions, even after restarting your device!

I was actually researching my game, my son’s birthday party, Chrome Unboxed and more when I had a power outage due to weather conditions in my area, and I ended up losing all my category groups. I had previously stated that if the function worked as Toby, so you can save tab groups on the new tab page for later recall, it will solve the problem, but this works just as well!
