Pokemon GO Niantic

We have returned to Gen 2 for this month's Pok & eacute; has reached the second of it as will be three famous starters from the region. We have already had a Chikorita community earlier, and now it's Cyndaquil's trip.

The big bonus for this community day is that if you develop Cyndaquil for his third phase, Typhlosion, he will know the C-Day-only Blast Burn 110 damages movement, which makes him much stronger in battle. Probably not as strong as Moltres, Entei or Flareon, but not bad either.

But the real The goal of Community Day is to always get you a new family of shinier. To capture a shiny Cyndaquil and develop it into a shiny Typhugion. So how do you maximize these odds? 19659003]

Today, Niantic seems to slowly increase the shining spawning frequency. It used to fluctuate around 3%, but I think today it is closer to 5% consistent, possibly even more, which means that if you take 20 Cyndaquil, at least one of them should be shiny. Again this is not a guarantee and you can catch 50-100 without getting one, but these days this situation is becoming more and more rare.

Pokemon GO Niantic

As ever, you want to have incense running for the entire three hour duration of the event (starting at 11 PT in America), as incense actually spreads Community Day Pok & eacute; mon consistently. Add in a three hour lure at places near you and you will drowning in Cyndaquil before you know it.

Wait almost completely at the end of the event to choose your shining Cyndaquil to evolve because you want to see if you can land a high IV one before you commit. But do not wait too long as you want to make sure your shiny Typhlosion also has Blast Burn. Even though other people now can get this shining family after this, nobody will have the unique community day's movement, making your own unique.

There have been some issues during the Community Day so far. In other regions, the game has been unplayable to the point where Niantic actually added extra two hours to the day to fix it, even though I still hear reports of problems. There is no telling how the game will be in America when this happens, but hopefully we will not run into similar issues, and Niantic will see what's happening.

After this we have a Totodile Community Day for another two months, and then we move on to the Gen 3 starters. But Cyndaquil, my own personal starter in Pok & eacute; Mon Silver, I'm not really going to miss.
