To get started, update to the latest version of Zoom and then jump into a video call on your Windows 10 PC or Mac. Then click on the small arrow next to the “Stop Video” button.
From the pop-up menu, select “Select Virtual Background” or “Select Video Filter.” Both take you to the same place.
You are now looking at the virtual backgrounds and video filters. Select “Studio Effects” at the bottom right (it may be marked as a “Beta” feature). The first time you open Studio Effects, you will be prompted to download and install additional files.
The studio effects consist of three sections: “Eyebrows”, “Mustache & Beard” and “Lip Color.” Choose some of the effects to apply immediately on your face.
When you select eyebrows or facial hair effects, color choices are shown below. Click on one of the preloaded colors, or select the color wheel to select a custom color. You can also adjust the transparency of the effect.
If you want your face effects to appear automatically in all meetings, select the “Apply to all future meetings” checkbox.
When you are done, click “Close”. Keep in mind that the face effects will appear on your video in real time as you customize them.
That’s it! You can get a wild look with these fun face effects that will definitely make you stand out in your next Zoom meeting.
