Aloy, the protagonist of the PlayStation titles Horizon Zero Dawn and the upcoming Horizon Forbidden West, will soon be available as a playable character in the online RPG Genshin Impact. She only wants to stay for a limited time, but the machine hunter is really on her way. More information about her addition will be shared soon, Sony says.
And that’s pretty much all we have to go right now – the tweet confirming Aloy’s inclusion is pretty much devoid of specific details. Still, it’s nice to know that the update is definitely happening after rumors recently swirled. There’s a character chart available on Genshin Impact’s official Hoyolab channel, but it simply introduces who Aloy is – longtime fans will already know what’s what.

After updating version 2.1 – Start of maintenance of version 2.2 (October 13, 2021 05:59 UTC + 8)
During the event, all travelers who log in to Genshin Impact on PlayStation®4 or the PlayStation®5 system will be able to receive Aloy directly via email in the game.
After updating to version 2.2 – Start of maintenance of version 2.3 (November 24, 2021, 05:59 UTC + 8)
During the event, travelers who log in to Genshin Impact on any available platform, and who have not yet received the grade in grade I, will be able to receive Aloy directly via email.
