As we approach the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto, we spend some time highlighting other regions of the Pokémon world. We have already shared our plans for the Sinnoh Celebration event, and today we are pleased to announce that Hoenn will be the next region mentioned in the countdown!

- Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Taillow, Loudred, Nosepass, Aron, Meditite, Roselia, Carvanha, Numel, Baltoy and more will appear more often in nature. If you are lucky, you may come across a Shiny Aron!
- The following Pokémon will hatch from 5 km of eggs: Skitty, Aron, Corphish, Lileep, Anorith, Bagon and Beldum.

Collect the following Pokémon to complete the Hoenn-themed Collection Challenge during the event to receive three Silver Pinap Berries, XP and one incense:

No new shiny is released as part of this event, but Aron is specifically mentioned as a shining shine.
Exclusive research for events
Event-exclusive Timed Research will be available! Complete the Hoenn-themed timed quests to receive the following rewards.
- Catch two Kyogre to earn 10 Kyogre Candies.
- Catch two Groudon to earn 10 Groudon Candies.
- Catch 30 Pokémon to earn 30 Poké Balls.
Complete all timed research tasks to meet a Rayquaza who knows the exclusive Charged Attack Hurricane, as well as earn 3000 XP and a Silver Pinap Berry. If you are extremely lucky, you may come across a shiny Rayquaza!

Evolve Metang (the developed form of Beldum) during the event to get a Metagross who knows the former Community Day-exclusive attack Meteor Mash!
