According to The Pokemon Company, the first step is to capture Meltan sending a Pokemon from the mobile game to the Switch titles. After transferring a Gen 1 monster from Pokemon Go to Let's Go, you get a special item called Mystery Box in Pokemon Go. Unlike most other things you can get in the game, the Mystery Box is reusable; You will be able to activate it so often, which again allows you to capture Meltan in Pokemon Go. You will then be able to transfer the mythical Pokemon to the Let's Go titles and add it to your collection.

Let's go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee's launch for Switch November 16th. The games will collapse next to Poke Ball Plus, a Poke Ball-shaped accessory that is compatible with both Switch games and Pokemon Go.
