Google Pixel and Essential phone users are already filling their faces with some Android Pie. And while there is rumored incoming support for many A-List models out there, including Samsung-only Motorola, Sony, Nokia and HTC have offered official confirmation.

As Google says on its website , Pixel Phones get the latest version of Android directly from Google. And you should be able to get it now.
If you purchased your device from the Google Store, updates usually come to your device within 2 weeks. If you purchased your device
- Pixel 2 (2017) phones get Android version updates for at least 3 years from when the device first became available on the Google Store. After 3 years, we can not guarantee more updates.
- Pixel (2016) phones get Android version updates for at least 2 years from when the device first became available on the Google Store. After 2 years, we can not guarantee more updates.

E ssential Phone
You must provide important credit. The company rolled out the Android Pie update for Essential Phone the same day it was made available to Google phones. Sony announced that only Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Premium, XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ Premium, XZ1 and XZ1 Compact owners will upgrade from the beginning of .
November 2018. If you have a lower end Sony XA2, XA2 Ultra or XA2 Plus, you must wait until 2019 for the update.
Motorola has confirmed updates for Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play, Moto Z2 Force Edition, Moto Z2 Play, Moto X4, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play. No update plan except a vague "this fall."

According to a Nokia 1929019 Nokia Tweet Android Pie will be available for Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 . Nokia 7 Plus, which is part of the Android One application, so you can get Android Pie Beta now. No word about the final version, though. The time will vary by country and operator on the other models, the company said in another tweet. "By country and operator" it sounds like a euphemism to "prepare to suffer."
In one tweet HTC HTC promised HTC Updates for the HTC U12 +, U11 +, U11 and U11 Life, but did not provide any timeframe whatsoever.
What about Samsung and others?
In theory, all modern (ish) Samsung are updated to Pie at some point in the future – namely Galaxy S9, S9 +, S8, Note9, Note8, A6 +, A6, A8, A8 +, J8 and Tab S4. But the company has not yet commented on the public in the matter.
Some other nice Android phones will probably also get updates, at least according to the Android beta logs: like Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Oppo R15 Pro and Vivo X21. As for Huawei, a report from Notebookcheck.net claims that Mate 10 Pro and Huawei P20 are currently being tested for Android Pie, but there is no official word about this.
