Google’s I / O developer event returns this year after it was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and like many other technical events that have taken place during the pandemic, it will be completely virtual. The event will take place May 18 – 20 and will be free to attend, according to 9to5Google, which revealed the date after solving Google’s cryptic I / O puzzle.
The Google I / O 2021 website is now live, where you can sign up for the event. The conference will have both consumer and developer-focused main topics, technical sessions, workshops, AMAs, meetings and more, according to a FAQ. Full schedule will be released later this month.
