One of the most sought after Google Home features is support for G Suite calendars. For many of us, our personal calendar does not have many events, it is our work that is filled with the edge of appointments and meetings. But until recently, Google Home could not read events from them if they were shared from a G Suite account. Now it can.

Several calendars on Google Home have been available for over a year, but the limitations were many. They did not support birthday and holiday calendar or shared calendars created by a G Suite account, or even imported calendars, and so on. Imported iCal and URL calendars were added a few months ago, and now it appears that G Suite-created calendars are finally supported as well.

Our tipster Dave mentioned that for the first time today when he said "Good morning" to his Google home, he reads events from his work calendar, shared from a G Suite account. I tested the same on my Google Home Mini and it told me about an event on my Android Police calendar, which it has not done before. I asked about my events tomorrow and it also read an event from my work calendar. I think the latter used to work, intermittent, but the first work definitely not the last time I checked. It may be time for Google to update the list of unsupported calendars at home.

If you have a working calendar shared from a G Suite account, you must test it and inform if it works for you. Congratulations with pleasure are allowed in the comments ̵
