The Windblume Festival may be over, but for some Genshin impact players begin the real trial. Rosaria, the game’s newest playable character, appears on the “Goodbye to Snezhnaya” cartoon banner and has its own “Collected Miscellany” trailer now.
Like similar videos for Hu Tao and Xiao, the trailer is a thorough look at both the character Rosaria and the movements and skills she brings to Genshin impact players’ parties.
The video begins by emphasizing the unique character of Rosaria’s role as priestess in Mondstad’s church Favonius. She does not hold worship services or pray to the gods, but rather pulls through the night and clears threats before they can lift their heads.
Her nightly schedule is reflected in a unique talent that increases the party̵
Rosaria’s Elemental Skill teleports her behind an enemy and strikes her from behind and can increase her own critical speed if she hits the enemy from behind. Rosaria’s Elemental Burst drives an ice spear into the ground and causes it to pulsate periodically with Cryo damage. With talent locks, Burst can also increase the frequency of criticism of his party members, which allows for strategic character change.
From the looks of it, Rosaria can be a useful character for players seeking a melee specialist with zone control mechanics. Her outburst also makes it useful to replace Rosaria with other signs to trigger elemental reactions.
Genshin impact is available on Android devices, iOS devices, PCs and PS4. A Switch version is under development. The PS5 version will be launched in the spring of 2021
