Gaming Hardware Company Allow Customers to My Crypto for Rewards

Gaming hardware manufacturing company Razer Inc. has released a new program called Razer SoftMiner. Customers can use this program for my cryptocurrency on their computers and merchandise for digital goods.

The consumer draws out new units by Razer Silver, the official digital asset of the company. They can then take these coins and switch them to game products.

In the "Frequently asked questions" section of the Razer site, read:

"Razer Silver is not a crypto currency. It is a loyalty reward program. We work with crypto technology to exploit the computer's GPU. In turn, we assign you Silver , which gives you access to Razer's ecosystem and a number of benefits. "

How the Process Works

By running the program, your computer will work hard to solve mathematical equations. This is the basis of any mining operation, but it is an extra step involved. Razer Silver does not exist via blockchain technology. Rather, it is a gift card system run by Razer. This allows the company to deprive any USD payments to its customers, and instead offer what the site calls a "full suite of Razer equipment and digital benefits." The unpacked devices instead of Razer managers instead of the customers themselves.

While it may seem strange, you can only be glad that this is not your default krypto-jacking scheme. In the long run, users are still allocated time and effort, even though there is no money (digitally or otherwise) they receive.

Can Crypto Lead to Liberty?

In a related story, digital venture Bail Bloc also uses mining power for a whole new purpose. The company is looking at new coins to expand immigrants held in detention camps run by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) body. Bail Bloc has primarily utilized its capabilities and services as a bail-out system that allows prisoners to enter their citizens and live freely while waiting for trial, but as the immigrant problem is getting bigger, Bail Bloc sees another purpose for kryptokurrency.

All funds extracted through the mining process will be donated to the Immigration Fund. In addition, Bail Bloc took the parent company The New Inquiry to social media to announce that it would be consistent with all funds generated by the program.

A company Tweet reader:

"We match all funds committed to @migrantbailfund through the Bail Bloc until December 14. Download today to volunteer your computing power and get people out of ICE detention."

This leaves just a small window open to volunteers, giving them Friday to get involved if they want the new request to match what they mine. Those interested are advised to visit the Bail Block website and download the correct mining software. Once this is done, volunteers can reward anywhere between 10 and 50 percent of their computing power to remind the crypto monero Monero.

It's Easier Than You Think

For the most part, users do not need to close other applications on their computers while the mining software is operating. They can go about their daily activities while the program runs in the background. Furthermore, some analysts argue that the 10 percent margin is not enough to impact on one's computer.

Contributors of Bail Bloc Grayson Earle commented:

"This is basically what poor people are offered as an alternative to justice. With the onset of crypto curves, we wanted to take some of the speculative energy and do something like that really useful. "

A report from Daily Beast suggests that more than 44,000 immigrants are being held in ICE prison centers on a given day. Given that they are not able to pay their citizens or prove legal status in the US, their prison can last anywhere between several months to year at a time.
