We’re only a month away from Samsung’s next big product launch, but there’s not much left to be surprised about. Today, an Amazon list showed the Galaxy Watch 4 again and confirmed the pricing in at least one market.
An Amazon search page that was discovered by WinFuture and is still live in the Google cache gives us the first reliable look at prices and release details regarding the upcoming smartwatch series. On the search page, four models are pictured, including 40mm and 44mm Galaxy Watch 4 as well as 42mm and 46mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Everything in the picture is completely in line with previous Galaxy Watch 4 leaks, but the more interesting details come from price and release information.
The cheapest model listed has a price tag of CAD $ 309, which directly converts to around USD $ 250. The Classic model meanwhile has a higher price tag of $ 463 in Canada, which may point to a price of around $ 370 in USA for 46mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. None of these prices will be out of line, but direct conversions will never be completely accurate. WinFuture adds that the “cheapest”
Especially the listings explicitly Mention Google’s Wear OS by name and place the details in front of and in the center of the product listing. It is clear that Samsung is not ashamed to switch from its own platform.
Furthermore, we can see a release date. At least in Canada, it looks like the Galaxy Watch 4 series will be released and shipped to customers on August 27, just over two weeks after the expected August 11 unpacked event.
Amazingly, the product listings are also live on Amazon’s website. The 46 mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic entry confirms a screen size of 1.36 inches along with the rotating frame. The same screen size applies to the 44mm Watch 4. Meanwhile, the smaller 42mm and 40mm options will have a 1.19-inch screen. Some health specifications on both the Classic and Standard Galaxy Watch 4 listings mention the following:
Body composition analysis, advanced sleep, V02 max, oxygen monitoring of blood, heart rate monitor
