With I / O passed and Samsung officially committed to using Wear OS going forward, the hype is on for the Galaxy Watch 4. This week, Samsung’s series received a new certification as it builds towards a release.
MyFixGuide discovered four Galaxy Watch 4 devices on 3C certification, a regulatory framework in China.
In fact, this certification reveals some important details about the Galaxy Watch 4 series beyond just adding further confirmation that the hardware will be on its way to the Chinese market. The four listed models include two Watch Active models in 39 mm and 43 mm, while the regular Galaxy Watch 4 mentioned 41
The entries also mention 5W charging support for all devices, on a par with last year’s model. Furthermore, it is noted that Samsung does not include a charging stone in the box with these smartwatches, which is very common for this type of product. A charging cable will certainly be included, but an electrical outlet is unusual for accessories.
No fixed release date is known yet for the Galaxy Watch 4 series, but Samsung will reportedly build up to an August event for devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 and S21 FE.
