- A video leak has demonstrated the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s One UI 3.1 features.
- This includes the long-rumored S Pen support.
- Camera features have received some particularly notable upgrades.
You do not have to wonder what One UI 3.1 will bring to the Galaxy S21 family – a leak may have just shown everything. GSMArena reports it Jimmy’s Promo has shared a video illustrating many of the One UI 3.1 features, including the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s infamous S Pen support.
Much of the familiar Galaxy Note feature set seems to have transferred to One UI 3.1, including shielding notes, Air view and Air command. While the S Pen will reportedly be optional for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, it does not appear that Samsung has compromised the software.
A UI 3.1 will also provide many camera upgrades, according to the leak. You see a feature with multiple cameras using the Snapdragon 888 (and possibly the Exynos 2100) to view live views from three cameras simultaneously. You will also see a focus amplifier and more accessible camera settings.

Other adjustments? Samsung Internet and Notes data are synchronized between phones and tablets, so you can copy on one device and paste on another. You can also drop Google Discover for news in favor of Samsung Free, if that’s your preference.
The clip also seems to confirm the Galaxy S21 Ultra specifications beyond the S Pen support, including 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of expandable storage (unlike the regular S21 models) and a 5,000 mAh battery.
If the video holds up, Samsung will confirm many of these details at its January 14 unpacked event. It is safe to say that a user interface 3.1 will not represent a radical departure from the 3.0 update exists primarily to accommodate hardware-specific features of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and its lower-end counterparts.
