Meanwhile, Samsung shows its new folding phones as “more accessible”, which may point to lower prices more widely. The technology giant may feel the pressure to make its devices cheaper after seeing a sales loss of more than 20% in the second quarter of 2020. Analysts point to the coronavirus pandemic as the reason for the smartphone sales leap.

The new phones are the follow-up to the S20 phones, which Samsung released last year to meet more budgets. There were rumors already in November that Samsung already mass-produced the Galaxy S21.
