Galaxy S10 details dripping in Samsung supply chain slip-up

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (or S 10 + if you prefer) was leaked this week with an official case. Not a kind of thing that usually comes from a hairpin-trigger accessory manufacturer, but a real-deal Samsung case. With that came a set of details about the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus that confirms some previous rumors, disproves others, and generally gives us a pretty good idea of what to talk to.

Relative size

As the vast majority of Samsung Galaxy S10 leaks this pre-release season, we see a set of leaks that come in part from Ice Universe – and a little from 8090. These people have some extremely good internal contacts – and / or supply chain contacts – delivering huge amounts of information on the next Samsung smartphone set regardless of name. This latest leak has to do with a protective case and a screen protector.

The picture you see directly above this section shows the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus screen protector on top of a Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The size is not accurate, but it's nicely gosh-darned nearby. The marginal overall size difference is nothing compared to the extreme difference in total front screen coverage. Almost the same size body with much more screen in the mix.

Screen Protector Warning

Screen Protector Associates 8090, posting this week from China talked about early results with Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensors – as we see in the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus. He suggested that ordinary tempered glass screen protectors would not work.

With the glass and adhesive layer between the standard glass and the extra layer, all necessary vibrations are erased. As such, we need to find new solutions, and we can safely warn against buying your daily average super-cheap screen protector for this phone – it doesn't give a nice result!

All three (or 5) models

The first three models are likely to be revealed simultaneously at an event set just before Mobile World Congress 2019. The other two models are likely to be released some time before the end of the first half of year.
