Four things to do before Destiny 2’s Season Of The Lost Launch tomorrow

Well, we’ve done it. Just one more day for both the great witch queen + more reveals the showcase tomorrow, which leads directly into the launch of season 15, Season of the Lost.

This is your last day to do a number of things, and although the seasonal content is no longer evaporating, there are still a few things I would recommend doing.

Submit your Vanguard tokens

The game has told you to do this a few times now, but if you̵

7;ve put it off, I do not blame you, because it’s not exactly fun. Next season, Destiny 2 will convert Zavala to Crucible / Gambit token-free rank system, but you will lose all your unused tokens in the process.

I handed in around 5000 tokens and managed to get maybe … two weapon rolls I kept (and probably still will not use). All armor is automatic garbage, due to the inability to roll even moderately high statistics. I got about 100 improvement cores and a bunch of legendary cores that I didn’t need. But I mean hey, better than nothing, so you might as well.

2. Clean up your character, the postmaster and the vault

I forgot to do this before and it’s annoying. A new season is about to fall with a whole bunch of new prey, so if you’re like me and have 7 or 8 of your weapon and armor characters filled when the season starts, you can fish it all out of your postmaster. Make sure the postmaster is clean so you do not lose things completely.

The same goes for your vault, where if you start the season full or at 490/500, you will have no place to put new stuff. At this point, since the sunset is dead, we actually need more vault space, but have no indication that it is coming. So start cleaning.

Familiarize yourself with the nerves and buffs

This is probably one of the biggest sandbox changes we’ve ever seen in the game in terms of the total for everything that changes. Bungie has taken three weeks gigantic TWABs to explain everything, and we do not even have the full note notes yet, which will probably be record settings.

I mean, you can stick to your current load if you want, on your way into new season 15 content, but I’ll try many of the recently buffed things.

Here are the subclass changes TWAB.

So when you see me out there Nova Warping with Merciless, you understand why.

Buy The Raiden Flux from Xur

Xur is in the hangar right now selling a 67 power Raiden Flux with good distribution for Hunters. Given the PvE buffets that come to the archery staff, this is a must-have for experimentation in the coming season. Who knows, maybe we’ll throw our apologies and throw Atraks with arc staff and Raiden Flux going forward. Also pick up Trinity Ghoul while you’re at it, if you don’t have one, as we’re heading into the Overload Bow season.

That’s pretty much it. You can also remember to claim your rewards from your season pass which you may not have received yet, but in the worst case I think you can do so on Bungie’s website later. You do not have to use all the umbrellas and your currency for overriding weapons since it does not disappear, but if you want to “clean up”, then surely, maybe. For lucky players who have landed Mythoclast, it’s time to pick up the catalyst before all the massive buffs.

Okay, tomorrow it’s going to be wild. See you then.
