Epic has announced a delay in the 6.21 update for Fortnite. Originally scheduled for October 31 at 2:00 PM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST, the update has been postponed to November 1st.
According to Epic, the delay is a result of a "last minute problem" discovered in Fortnite's new building. The game Royal Game was scheduled to end October 31 for maintenance while the update was installed, but it is no longer the case. Players should expect Fortnite to go down on November 1st instead. As with previous Fortnite updates, patch notes for 6.21 will not be released before release date.
Fortnite is currently in the midst of its limited time, Halloween-themed event called Fortnitemares. Introduced October 23th in update 6.20, the event will take place on November 26th and introduces a new PvP mode that meshes both Fortnite's popular Battle Royale and original Save The World. "Explore all the tasty treats, exciting looks and new looks," said Epic Games about the event. "Under Fortnitemares, you want to meet Cube Monsters in a whole new way to play Battle Royale. There are new weapons that fight back against these creepy creatures, such as Six Shooter and Fiend Hunter Crossbow."
Fortnitters challenges are set to alternate a few days throughout the event. For now, the four challenges listed below are.
