Fortnite’s dinosaur eggs have hatched, and now birds of prey are roaming the island

The latest season of Fortnite, called “Primal”, did two main things: it introduced animals to the island and added a prehistoric theme. So it’s only fitting that the latest update includes a dinosaur.

Thanks to a recent update, birds of prey now roam the game’s royal game and join other predators such as wolves and sharks. They seem to spawn randomly, so there is no guarantee that you will meet one in a match; I played for more than an hour this morning before I saw one in nature.

In traditional Fortnite fashion, the news had been teased in recent days; giant eggs scattered across the island began to burst, suggesting it something was at work. It is reminiscent of past events such as the volcanic eruption, Kevin the rolling cube, or the time a massive robot was slowly constructed. It̵

This is the first major update for season 6, so there may be other creatures on the way.
