Epic Games has confirmed that they plan to continue supporting Fortnite Save the World, which has facilitated the dedicated fan base.
After completing commitments on other game projects to focus on the highly popular Fortnite BR, some believed that STW could be next.
Epic Games, meanwhile, has revealed plans to save the world free of play, a major change that can make a big boost for it.
However, while support continues for Fortnite STW, fans are experiencing this week.
Multiple performance issues have increased since the last update of the game was distributed.
Reddit is full of comments confirming ongoing problems playing the game, which Epic Games says they are working on.
"Since the release of 5.20 there has been an increase in connection problems, explains Epic Games in a New Investigation.
After the investigation, we have discovered two major server attacks that we believe are the source of the problems: One linked to the general evolutionary system, server tries to contact the backend services. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
"Another topic we have seen many discussions about is the camera issue when large rocket launchers are used.
"We know this is a pain point and plans to take it up, we'll provide more information here as soon as we have it."
Since this message was released, the development team has revealed that many problems with server crashes have become resolved.
But not all the issues flagged by players have been solved and there is something that will be the focus of the next couple games.

Epic Games announced that STW will be following the footsteps of its Battle Royale counterpart in a significant way – decision of the free-to-play model.
Free codes are scheduled to expire once in 2018, although no-one month is confirmed.
This will mean major changes for Save the World, which has built a dedicated community since its launch.
Going free to play will mean some significant improvements for fans hoping to keep playing it as their most important Fortnite experience.
Multiple players will mean an easier time to start games, but it also comes with some disadvantages.
Save the world allow players to earn V-Bucks and use them in Battle Royale.
And one thing STW fans jump
There have also been rumors that something could be announced during season 5 in the game.
Midway Through Fortnite Season 4 A leaker made some bold claims on Fortnite Season 5.
They claimed that Save The World would be free by the time Fortnite Season 5 ends. But they also claimed other events that happen around season 5, which have not happened.
So far, this rumor is just speculation and should be brought with a big pinch of salt.
