Fortnite Rifts is undoubtedly one of the coolest additions to the game in Season 5, as they allow an additional level of mobility around the map along with the potential to escape losing the matches. Although we can probably expect Rifts to disappear from the game card, when the season 5 runs in a few weeks (just like Hop Rocks did at the end of season 4), they seem to hang around in elemental form.
A popup that appears when you start Fortnite began to bother a new item called Rift-To-Go. "A rift you carry in your pocket!" Describes the description of the item. "Teleport over your current position and slide down."
It's likely that Rift-To-Go will be included in this week's update, which will fall tomorrow. Advertising of new items in the game a few days before they are alive are pairs of the Epic course, and it is rare to see that the company is playing objects that are still far from the release.
Record and condense them into disposable items that you find in loot drops are an interesting idea. Obviously, the idea that Rift-To-Go would be a one-time use is just an assumption, as Epic has not described how it works yet. We just have to wait for the update notes tomorrow tomorrow to learn about the ability of Rift-To-Go. At least, it will be interesting to see the effects of an item that allows players to quickly escape a confrontation and can be used anywhere.
Everyone will be revealed early in the morning tomorrow, so see you tight until then. Meanwhile, head down to the commentary section and let us know what you think – does Rifts make a troubled item a good idea?
