It seems that Fortnite players are still able to get their hands on Infinity Blade, even though the weapon was placed in the vault of the game.
Infinity Blade was added to Fortnite in V7.01 Update for the popular match royal title, and Epic Games immediately felt annoying players complaining that the weapon was too powerful and that the developers had not done enough to give the players a counter especially towards the end of matches.
Epic Games attempted to drop Infinity Blade in the days after the release of the sword, but decided to remove the game from Friday 14th. December in the midst of continuing setbacks.
While fans and prominent community members were pleased with the news, celebrations appear to have been a bit too early as players have still managed to get Infinity Blade in the days after it has been officially removed.
In a video posted on Reddit, Twitch streamed the Quemzi solo match when he thought he could hear an enemy player using the sword and asked; "Wait, how is an Infinity Leaf?"
Quemzi decided to watch the rest of his game from the perspective of an opponent who had used a sniper rifle to eliminate him and it did not take long before the player came across the Infinity Blade wielding enemy near Tilted Towers.

The player whom Quemzi was tracking was able to kill the enemy using swords and continued to throw it into the storm so people would not be able to get it, but Quemzi could not see how Infinity Blade was purchased using Fortnite's Theater Mode.
Players in the comments on this video could confirm that this was not an isolated event, with a handful of reviews that they had encountered the same on a variety of platforms.
