Fortnite: Battle Royale is finally available now on Android without the need for an invitation. Beta had previously been an invitation, but today you can download it to any Android device for free without waiting. Unlike most Android games, Epic does not offer Fortnite through the Google Play store, but instead on its official website. How to download it.
Epic followed the announcement with recommended system specifications for your Android device for the best experience.
- OS: Recommended Android 8.0 or higher, 64 bit
- RAM: Recommended 4GB or higher
- GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher
Plugging the official page is important since Epic bypasses the Google Play store to free the program directly to users. This allows the studio to retain more of the profits, but is at risk of security issues. Avoiding the safety of a reputable and reliable store also increases the risk of conscientious people confusing potential players. Recently, dubious apps that claim to offer free V dollars or cheats have been linked to phishing schemes. For obvious reasons, be sure to install through the official site.
