Former Dallas Fuel Overwatch proxQc suspended again, maybe missing World Cup

Former Dallas Fuel pro Félix "xQc" Lengyel has been suspended from Overwatch again. He was twice suspended during the Overwatch League season, the first time to make homophobic comments to an opponent, the second time to use "an emoticon in a racial way" while reporter Malik Forté, who is black, was on screen . Dallas Fuel dropped him quickly from his list.

Now he has been suspended for persistent "insulting languages" aimed at other players in the game, leaving his place in next month's Overwatch World Cup with Team Canada in doubt.

5-day suspension will lift before the start of the World Cup, but the rules of the tournament dictate that all players accounts must be in "good condition". It is unclear whether the suspension will affect his ability to play: according to Rock Paper Shotgun, xQc said under a stream he expects to miss the World Cup, but Team Canada's coach later tweeted that xQc would still play .

On Twitter, xQc said it was "never my intention to harass or use i-chat discussion in an abusive manner", claiming that much of the language was just "banter".

Thank you, RPS .
