More of a good thing is always better, right? Audi is sure to think so, as "more" is the keyword behind redesigned by the city string 2019 Q3 crossover.
With more technology, more length and width, more internal space, more snap lattice and (probably) more money to get one, the brand new Q3 will help push Audi's smallest SUV offer closer to the best-selling Q5, both in appeal and sales. Last year, Audi moved almost 21,000 Q3s off dealer a lot, but over 57,000 Q5s, making it easy for the brand's best-selling model. 2019 Q3 hopes to close this gap because buyers continue to acquire something with a height of rpm, all-wheel drive and a luxury brand.
When talking about brands, it's hard to miss the recognizable four-ring logo in the midst of the New Q3's massive trapezoidal grille, which adds silver vertical slats to bring it closer visually to the top quality Q8 introduced this year. The headlights play the new A6 shape and LED pattern, and the front façade has a full width design that outlines and connects the (most likely fake) valves in front of the wheels.
Next to, the body lines Q3 visually extend over the stubby-outgoing model and add a dramatic impact over the rear wheel arches for a little more visual flair. The rear fascia keeps things tall and clogged with large, wide LED tail lights and a similar wide-ranging trimmer that connects both exhaust ports on the bumper. Whether they are fake or not so good, it is not yet seen.
Inside borrows Q3 from its major brothers, and has a stylish dashboard design and available virtual cockpit display that has become so popular on modern Audis. Brown accents add a little visual flair to an otherwise technically heavy cabin, which has a massive infotainment display if the information in front of you in one way or another was not enough.
The outgoing Q3 was not an unattractive SUV, but it suffered from the brand Audi anonymity of the latest generation of vehicles. By turning and developing the design, Audi Morphed Q3 has a much more appealing little runabout, at least visually.
2019 Q3 grows a few inches around, including wheels and trunk so that it will be able to adapt to people and things better than the outgoing model.
Other than styling, the major changes to the new Q3 come in the dimensioning department, which means that almost all measurable distances and capacity are increased. The 2019 Q3 grows to 14.7 feet long and 6.1 feet wide, an increase of 3.8 and 1 inch respectively, and the axle distance extends by 3 inches to 102.5 inches. The company also claims that interior dimensions are more spacious, but do not indicate how much. With so much space to play with, we take Audi on his word.
One area press release was determined, but there is an increase in the cargo space, which was certainly on the small side of the outgoing model. The space behind the back seats has increased by two cubic feet to 18.7, and with 3.6 cubic feet to 53.9 with the backs folded flat. Audi also mentions that the lorry can be adjusted in three levels, and the load cover can be stowed under if it is not needed, a smart solution for when you need a little more vertical height around the back. Audi has been an electrically driven tailgate. a leader on the technical front for many years now and 2019 Q3 is no different, sportsing an available virtual cockpit screen and a massive new touchscreen infotainment system.
