Square Enix’s series of Final Fantasy pixel remasters continues on September 8 with the arrival of Final Fantasy 4 on Steam and mobile devices.

On the gaming front, there is an option for automatic combat, updated controller support and a modernized user interface, and the improvements in quality of life include the ability to save at any time. Finally, rounding off the updated package, there are accessories, including a bestiary, illustration gallery and music player.

Square’s Final Fantasy 4 pixel remaster will cost £ 12.99 when it arrives on Steam on September 8 (mobile versions will probably be a bit more expensive judging by previous releases), and pre-buyers will get three specially reorganized music tracks – The Red Wings (Timelapse Remix), Main Theme of Final Fantasy 4 (Timelapse Remix) and Battle 2 (Timelapse Remix) – plus two limited wallpapers and 20% off.

There’s also a special package available on Steam, which gives players access to all currently released Final Fantasy pixel remasters, along with installments 5 and 6 when they arrive at a later date.
