FaZe Thiefs and Liquid Chap scored 51

points for Narcissus Nate Hill and FunkBomb (49 points) on Friday to win $ 43,800 in the North American edition of Fortnite Summer Skirmish on day 1 of week 7.

LeFouBruiteur and Skiiiite earned $ 42,550 the top prize in the European region earlier Friday. Solary Kinstaar and Lunary Jbzzed ($ 33 250) finished with others, while Teekzie and Lunary Xewer ($ 23 200) rounded out the three best in group 1.

Week 7 is attacked under a format known as Big Bonus . The stars of Fortnite Battle Royale are awarded one point for each elimination, five points to reach at least eight eliminations as a team and five points to secure Victory Royale.

The North American tournament started with a game battle. Ninja and Dr. Lupo were farmed outside Paradise Palms when a massive lightning struck resulted in a cube structure being added to the map, to surprise two of the video's top streamers.

Let's check out that would the moment:

Thiefs and Chap built significant leadership over the last four games, thanks to a series of highly bad performances. For the third straight week, the format rewarded players for aggressive gaming that led to eliminations, and it has created a more viscous performance.

However, Liquid Poach and TimTheTatMan were the only duo to win two of the five games in their respective region Friday, but they ended only ninth in the final NA points.

Nate Hill and FunkBomb completed almost a massive rally in today's finals before they pulled three eliminations cards to ensure top ranking.

The European tournament contained far less high elimination performances that allowed LeFouBruiteur and Skiiiite to win by 30 points (21 fewer than North American champs).

Here's a look at some of today's other highlights:

Week 7 rolls on Saturday with the European event at 12 ET and the North American tournament at 5 ET. It will probably be mentioned under the Big Bonus rules.
