Before the entire game release date in November, Bethesda will host a Fallout 76 beta later this month. The first leg of this begins October 23 for Xbox One, but some fans will have a chance to try it even faster than that. Bethesda has announced that before the Xbox launches, some Xbox Insiders will be able to participate in a limited stress test that starts this weekend to help the studio prepare the beta launch.
Participants in the stress test will be selected from a pool of players who have both pre-ordered Fallout 76 for Xbox One and also members of the Xbox Insider program. Compliance with these two criteria does not guarantee you a place, but it puts you in a hurry. From Saturday, October 1
Everything comes with a few warnings. This only applies to North American players, and you must also be an Xbox Live Gold member since it is an online game. Participants will be under an NDA, and your progress in stress testing will not be saved. The beta version to be launched later this month is a very own program. You also can not earn any achievements.
If they sound like appointment-breakers and you have pre-ordered the game anyway, you may be better off waiting for the entire beta. It starts October 23 on Xbox One and follows on PC and PS4 one week later on October 30th. Even if you have pre-ordered the game, you may not necessarily enter the test at the moment it starts. Bethesda plans to send invitations in waves, with a relatively small number invited to begin. You can read more information about how and when it will roll out in our beta version.
The Xbox Insider program is a free option for Xbox One owners who get you to some early software tests for upcoming firmware to provide feedback. You will find more instructions through the official website.
