Fantastic uses a diorama aesthetic for the graphics
Fantastic especially is a diorama game. Hironobu Sakaguchi explained FF6 let’s play was on an old CRT TV. So he had the idea of using diorama to give players a nostalgic and oldschool feeling like that.
FantasticThe developers asked 150 artisans across Japan to create all the locations in the game. Then the dioramas were recreated in the game. There are over 150 dioramas in total Fantastic. Hironobu Sakaguchi shockingly mentioned that they could exhibit the dioramas in museums one day.

Fantastic Features The Trailer Famitsu version explained the combat system and the Dimengeon system
Trailer is on time stamp 6:07:25. It has more game footage than the Features trailer version revealed in early March.
Fantastic uses a standard JRPG turn-based combat system, with random encounters.
Fantastic has a combat system similar to oldschool Final Fantasy, compared to action-oriented as in Final Fantasy VII Remake. There is no ATB though, and it is 100% turn based. However, players can unleash Dimengeon, to capture enemies they would normally encounter, and send them into another dimension. So at any time, players can go into Dimengeon and fight all the enemies that have been captured so far at once.
Hironobu Sakaguchi explained that he got the idea for the Dimengeon system due to Fantastictouch controls.
Imagine that you touch a coffin on the map with your finger, so the main character begins to move towards it. However, a random encounter triggers. When the match is over, the main character will be immobile again and you will have to touch your chest again. The Dimengeon system prevents situations like these.
You can store up to 30 enemies first in Dimengeon. They will appear in successive waves when there are too many. There is also a special gimmick to make the fights easier. Players will be able to upgrade the Dimengeon border beyond 30 enemies.
The combat system has a similar sighting system Chrono Trigger to take an ordinary example. Also, attack certain skills in a straight line, while some have a curved path. You can aim your skills to hit as many enemies as possible.
How long does it take to beat Fantastic?
According to what was revealed on stream, it will take players between 20 and 60 hours to complete Fantastic. It will depend on whether they focus on the main story or not.
Further Fantastic will be divided into two parts. in the same way as Final Fantasy 6. The first part will be fine. In the meantime, the second part will contain many page requests. You know what I’m talking about if you played FF6.
Party members in Fantastic
There will be eight party members in total. Three party members are fighting in battle. When you start the second half of the game, however, you can switch freely between the 8 party members during battle.
Different worlds are mixed together in Fantastic. From worlds of fantasy themes with magic and monsters. For technology killers with robots. Each world is layered together and connected.
