"Account Security is our Top Priority!" Fortnite team wrote in a Thursday blog post advertising deal. "Tofaktor Authentication (2FA) can be used to protect your account against unauthorized access by requiring you to enter an additional code when you log in. Keep your account safe and remember, Epic employees will never ask for your password!" The feature supports authentication programs like Google Authenticator, LastPass Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and Authy, or you can use an email address.
To enable it, go to your account settings, click the "Password and Security" tab, and scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the "two-factor authentication" heading. Then click on "enable authentication app" or "enable email authentication."
Once configured, you will be asked to enter the code you receive through the preferred two-factor authentication method when you log in to your account. You must enter a two-factor code first when you log in after setting up the feature, if you log in to another device, if it has been more than 30 days since you last logged in, or if you delete your browser cookies.
