Elon Musk is known for revealing ambitious plans, and the latter suggests that Startship’s Super Heavy booster will not land, but will be captured when it returns to Earth.

The SpaceX boss shared on Twitter that the heavy booster, which is still under development, will be picked up by the launch tower arm that was used to stabilize the vehicle during the pre-launch preparations.

The proposed method will immediately place the booster on the launch pad so that it can take flight again “in less than an hour.”

SpaceX is working on the Super Heavy rocket at the test facility in Boca Chica, Texas, but is set to conduct several test aircraft of Starship prototypes that are without the huge booster.

Now that SpaceX has launched three of the Starship prototypes into the air, it looks like the company is starting to make plans for how the process will work when the booster is added.

Musk’s ambitious plan would be a way to cut costs and mass by eliminating the need for a booster to have legs for landing.

However, if the CEO is to achieve his goal of sending one million people to Mars by 2025, SpaceX must launch more Starships in a single day.

Serial number 8 (SN8) lasted as the most successful launch – but it was also the most devastating.

The world was set for December 10 to see the massive rocket take off from Boca Chica with a goal of reaching 41,000 feet in the air – the highest “jump” in any Starship.

The prototype of the spacecraft’s climb lasted for about six minutes before the engines stopped and SN8 began the journey down to the launch pad.

The world sat on the edge of the seats as the rocket approached the ground – wondering if Musk’s prediction of a bumpy landing would turn out to be correct.

When Starship finally touched it, it ignited in flames – and when the fire and smoke were cleared, there was only a pile of rubbish topped by what was left of the craft’s nose.

Musk shared his enthusiasm for the launch on Twitter and wrote: ‘Successful ascent, transition to top tanks and precise flap control to landing point!’

The CEO later thanked South Texas for the support in a separate tweet, followed by another saying ‘March, here we come !!’

In the last year alone, SpaceX has completed two low-altitude flight tests with SN5 and SN6 and over 16,000 seconds of driving time during take-off of the ground.

In addition, with production acceleration and increasing loyalty, SpaceX has built 10 Starship prototypes. SN9 is almost ready to move to the cushion, which now has two active racks for rapid development testing, ‘said the company.

Landing is one of the most important aspects – since it must be fully reusable to achieve the goals and price per aircraft set by the SpaceX team.

There are a number of potential uses for Starship – including the distribution of hundreds of satellites in orbit simultaneously and the landing of astronauts on the moon and Mars.
