Elder Scrolls Online is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X in June



Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced is the next generation version of the popular MMO coming to Xbox Series X / S and PS5 on June 8, 2021. The Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced version will be free for anyone who owns ESO on PS4 or Xbox One , and this new version reduces load time by half (on average), adds a performance mode of 60 FPS, increases traction distance by almost double and much more.Those who want a “visual party” in ESO will also be able to take advantage of native 4K at 30 FPS in Fidelity Mode.

There will also be improved reflections, shadows, depth of field, ambient occlusion with global illumination in the screen area, updated antialiasing and unlocked textures.

ESO: Console Enhanced was announced during the Blackwood Chapter Preview Event which will allow players to “reveal daedric plots and tyrannical schemes that consume the region and [they] must discover their connection to the prince of destruction and his terrible plans for Tamriel. “Although Blackwood is a stand-alone story, the events will advance the story of the Gates of Oblivion that will continue to unfold through 2021

.

Also unveiled is the brand new companion system that will give players the opportunity to choose between two new companions whose playing style will be defined by choosing equipment and leveling their skills.

Blackwood Chapter will be released on PC on June 1, 2021 and will be available on consoles, including ESO: Console Enhanced, June 8, 2021.
