EA plans to revise the original Command and Conquer games for the 25th anniversary of the series.
The real-time strategy franchise was first released for PC back in 1995, so it's still another two years until it's 25 – more than enough time to get a remaster box off.
This news was discovered in a "C & C Update from EA" Reddit mail, created by EA producer Jim Vessella, who said that the company "explores some exciting ideas."

As most of you may know, we recently announced Command & Conquer: Rivals, a mobile game set in Command & Conquer universe. After revealing rivals, we heard you loudly: The Command & Conquer community will also see that the franchise returns to PC.
As a fan of C & C for over 20 years, I could not agree more. With that in mind, we have explored some exciting ideas about remastering the classic PC games, and already the ball has rolled on our first effort to celebrate the upcoming 25th anniversary.
We are eager to hear your feedback to affect our current thoughts for PC and what will come next time. During the next few weeks we will talk to fans in a number of ways.
Hopefully, Vesselas passion for C & C will see this project continue in the right direction and if you are interested in a visit, you should provide feedback on his Reddit post.
After "no microtransactions" you have already strongly requested what the manufacturer replied: "We do not want to add anyone." Good news.
Another commentary said that HUD should be "something close to CnC3 with production veneer and so on, more constructions would be good with also a change for those who do not want it." Vessella gave this answer a Gold Star – so make sure you get involved if you want your ideas taken into consideration.
What do you think about these news? Have you been waiting for a remaster? Have you never played the original Command And Conquer ? Let us know.
