Bandai Namco has recently released a new trailer and gameplay recording for Digimon Survive during a live-streaming event, which gives us a good look at their tournament strategy RPG games and visual romance approach to stories.
The new Recording reveals that Digimon Survive will use a game style reminiscent of The Banner Saga, where players can move to different square shakes and attack enemies on a given selection. The short play also showed that Digimon can dispel midfielder, with Agumon turning into Metal Greymon to shoot deadly missiles against enemies.
Apparently, pregnant forms are not a solid state in Digimon Survive. Digivolving uses energy and can be expanded by interacting with party members and enemies. About 1
As a survival-focused title, Digimon Survive gives you the opportunity to shape the story and determine who lives and dies through history. This was a brief glimpse of the new trailer and gameplay recording, where different dialog options are available when interacting with the various NPCs. Digimon Survive primarily uses a visual novel game approach to this aspect of the game. Basically, it uses a point-and-click game style where players can look for important points in their surroundings, pick up items and interact with different renderings of human characters and digimon.
Digimon Survive is scheduled to launch in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019, and has not yet been announced to the West.
