Battlefield V Developers DICE has explained its reasons for the controversial changes in the game's multiplayer time to kill, but their apology did not receive the desired response.
In December 12th the game of play, the multiplayer time to kill was significantly altered and caused the horror of some parts of the game's fans. A & # 39; core & # 39; Conquest mode – one of Battlefield's signature game types – was added to give hardcore fans a chance to play with the previous TTK settings.
However, just limiting the Conquest mode, do not go well with the fans. The DICE team took Reddit to explain their decision, which they explained was about giving new players a less expensive chance of playing and how to implement a new core playlist for each game mode.
Battlefield V players are not happy with the TTK changes.
Community director Dan Miter wrote: "On behalf of the Battlefield team, I would like to ask for the style for the last couple of days on the TTK topic. We have seen it has been a big talk and caused a division in society, which was never ours purpose. We have listened carefully to what you have all said. "
He added:" Changes in the game that carry this kind of weight clearly require prior communication before they are rolled out. We will improve how we roll out updates in the future and respond faster when you have questions or concerns. "
However, this explanation did not go well with the Battlefield V Reddit community. "New players struggle? No shit … mention me a multiplayer game where new players can jump in and immediately do as well as the experienced players?" Black Reddit-user Jackzu.
"Stop splitting the bad player base and just return the old TTK. This will only cause confusion, longer matchmaking times and eventually smaller players," add another fan SNAIP -.
There seem to be ways to go before DICE has completely united with their communities. While more changes will be welcomed, being open and transparent in the past, there are hardcore fans of the game after.
