Some of the highlights include a complete rework of the weapon system, which gives players much more freedom to play as they like. Due to these changes, the ammunition has also been adjusted to take into account the new loads. Tons of weapons, armor and abilities were buffeted, with just a few nerfs here and there to help iron out some of the wrinkles and pistons that were overkill.
The director has been updated to count on the new Forsaken locations in Tangled Shore and Dreaming City. It also changed the way Strike playlists work, including Nightfall, and added a Heroic Story playlist, allowing players to visit campaign issues in a more difficult way.
On a particularly interesting change, an adjustment of the contrast and saturation is better suited to the darker theme of Destiny 2: Forsaken . If you jump back in the tower or run around Mars, you can notice a subtle shift in the way the game is visually presented now.
Perhaps most sad of all, Cayde-6 has left the tower to make its last stand in Eldest Prison, an event we see will grow next week.
It's a known issue of the Forsaken loot that goes early, but when the extension itself starts on Tuesday, Bungie will not likely
