Destiny 2: Forsaken Power Leveling Guide – 5 useful tips for getting raid ready

Since the launch of Destiny 2: Forsaken, the players have been hard at work and getting ready for the next Raid. Although we are still in the dark as to what challenges the Last Want Raid wants, we know it finally takes us away from Leviathan, and will offer the most challenging six-player mission to date. But so many players discovered after completing the main campaign, the new soft cap of 500 Power brings a rather steep climb to overcome for Guardians looking forward to the next major activity.

Historically, the Power and Engram systems have undergone major changes and revisions with every major expansion, and the Cause is no different. Prior to the launch launch, the game has seen some updates on the frequency of runners and the systems that players have become accustomed to. With a minimum level of 550 required for the upcoming Raid, players must take advantage of all the resources and capabilities they have available to prepare for what's coming. With this in mind, we have come up with 5 helpful tips to help you get ready for the upcoming Raid, released Friday 1

4th. September.

Complete the campaign and enjoy the new gate [19659005] First, it is important that you complete the Forsaken DLC main campaign. While this may seem obvious, completion is the fastest way to reach level 50 and 500 power levels for your Guardian. When you take on the story and the adventures throughout the campaign, you will swim in new equipment – mostly blue items – as you get used to the new changes added to the Forsaken extension. What is abundantly clear is that many of the changes to Destiny 2's established systems have removed some shortcuts and turned down certain methods that players liked to use to cross the boom.

Once you reach 500 power levels, you meet the first soft leveling cap. In the future, most blue and purple tools found from regular drops, suppliers and standard missions will be 500, and you'll need to take advantage of the more challenging missions to boost your power evenly. But just in mind, just when you start striking your step and rising in force, another softness of 520 awaits. Just remember, there is no quick way to increase your strength;

Buy Powerful and Prime Engrams

To overcome the steep climb over 500, you must acquire the new type of rewards found from completing the harder bounties and milestones. Like the luminous engrams from the original Destiny 2, Powerful Engrams are the rare solution you can find from completing important missions and milestones around the different planets and activities you can participate in. These Engrams House Legendary and Exotic Equipment – the latter of which too have seen reduced fall rates. In addition to powerful engrams, Prime Engrams has also been thrown into the mix.

While Cryptarch Master Rahool has had a smaller hands-on role in spreading open Engrams – most unlock instantly – you need him to help open up Prime Engrams. Unlike powerful Engrams, Prime Engram's Prime Attunement requires a special buff that only comes once a day. With the primary adaptation, the special Engram can escape from powerful enemies in public events, Strikes and Heroic missions, and from participating in multiplayer matches. Although it is completely RNG-based, it is generous enough where it only takes some missions to see a drop. Interestingly, Prime Attunement can be stacked if you do not take advantage of it on the day you receive it – it will transfer to the next day. The gains you can get from these special Engrams can offer an increase of 5 power on the particular item, which may not work much, but can go a long way in increasing your strength. To sum up, be sure to keep an eye on powerful enemies in the strikes and heroic missions, and be focused under PvP to get these drops.

Keeping Up With Daily and Weekly Bounties

While the benefit of bounties took a backseat throughout Destiny 2's first year compared to the original game, Forsaken brought them back into a big way. During the main story, you interact with many of Destiny 2's key people, including beginners Spider and The Drifter, along with other returning people like Petra and Vanguard members. Several of the most important NPCs will offer daily and weekly rewards for you to take on. The majority of these bounties do not require much effort and can be achieved while engaging in other activities. Although a number of these tasks only provide glimpses, materials and other benefits, the resources obtained can be beneficial to suppliers and NPC.

However, there are several high profile bounties that are far more challenging and only come once a week. Founded by Petra and Spider, some of these bounties will encourage you to go to some of the more obscure areas of Destiny 2's worlds to find hidden targets. The higher tiered bounties from Spider will make you confront refugees from Elders prison while Petra's rewards in Dreaming City will encourage you to handle many of the new site's unique events and missions, some of which are a little more complex than they put on. But when it comes to bounties, always check Petra and Spider to keep up to date on the latest goals they have to offer.

Head to the Dreaming City

After completing the main story, you will eventually access Dreaming City, the new game course in Forsaken. While exploring Dreaming City, you will find more events around the map that are slightly different than those available on Tangled Shore and other planets. When you visit Petra in The Strand, you can take on many bounties and pursuits, both of which offer powerful Engram rewards. From here you can explore the area and engage with the main points in Dreaming City.

One of Petra's persecutions performs you to complete an Ascendant Challenge, a new weekly activity that brings Guardians to the Taken realm. Using a Tincture of Queensfoil, found from public events and chests around Dreaming City, you get access to a hidden portal on the map. Each week, the location of this portal is changed from three different areas, and they can only be found after using the above mentioned Tincture of Queensfoil. Inside the Ascendant Realm, you will engage with more powerful ones while completing smaller goals. It's best to complete these with a group, which you can easily be overwhelmed. Completing the Ascendant Challenge search from Petra will reward you with a powerful Engram.

However, the clear standout in Dreaming City is the public event known as The Blind Well. Like the King's Court of Oryx, it's a multi-tiered activity in the open world that challenges players to take out increasingly difficult waves of Scorn and Tasks. While most players can take part in the first tier challenge at The Blind Well by using a Tier 1 Charge of Light (found from most activities in the field or by purchasing them from Petra), the top levels are much harder to perform. That said, Tier 1 of The Blind Well is manageable. To get a Guaranteed Powerful Engram, complete Gateway Between World's hunt from Petra by clearing the activity several times, which will earn you an offer. Take this item to Oracle Engine in The Dreaming City, located in the spinal column of the grain, to collect the reward.

Tempo self and complete milestone claims

Together with collecting Prime Engrams and completing Petra and Spider bounties, the most important thing you can do to turn on is to stay up to date on your weekly and daily environmental claims. From the director menu you can see the available activities across the different game modes and planets that will give up Powerful Engrams. These include anchorage attacks, nightfall, flashpoint and clearing games in the crucible and gambit modes. Also, be sure to keep up with your clan contributions, as the maximum rope can also lead to a powerful engram. Along with bounties from different NPC characters, you will be able to acquire materials and other benefits when eliminating these challenges.

As mentioned earlier, gate post 500 effect will take some time to overcome. With Raid that requires 550 power, and with another height to climb when you hit 520, you have to stay on top of all these activities and bounties to reach Raid status in a timely manner. With that said, there is still a lot to be gained from completing the game's changing challenges, as you get to the right level of power before you think.
