Destiny 2 August Roadmap Revealed, Notification Location Changes Coming Before Forsaken DLC

Bungie has revealed the upcoming roadmap for changes coming to Destiny 2 in the next two months. There are brand new features for August, plus more that come with the paid Forsaken DLC extension.

You can see the full list of changes that Bungie will introduce to Destiny 2 just below. There are changes that have already been implemented in June and July, but also several important changes coming in August and September.

Namely, weapon game changes will appear next month in August for all Destiny 2 players. Bungie originally announced that they would scrape kinetic, energy and energy games as part of Forsaken DLC, which released in September, but it seems that these changes will launch outside the DLC in August.

This means that From 28 August you will be able to equip your weapons to whatever track you want in Destiny 2, whether they are a power, energy or kinetic weapon. Heroic Story Missions will also be released in the August update for Destiny 2, and the 200 additional Vault Slots.

Forsaken DLC launches in September, but there will also be three new Crucible maps, a new Crucible mode, power benefits in both Iron Banner and Trials of the Nine, and many more changes outside the paid DLC.

For all you need to know about the upcoming third TLC package for Destiny 2, Forsaken, which is set to launch September 4th, we will transition to our Destiny 2 Forsaken guide.
