The official website for Kimetsu and Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan video games revealed on Monday that the game will also get a release on the Xbox Series X and S, as well PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Steam. The game will feature a story mode that allows fans to relive the story of the first TV anime. A battle mode allows players to play as different characters.
Aniplex delays the release of separately Kimetsu and Yaiba: Keppū Kengeki Royale (Demon butcher: Blood-Stench Blade Royale) smartphone game indefinitely to improve the quality of the game. The game was previously scheduled to debut in 2020. The free-to-play “asymmetric survival action game” smartphone will pit teams of demon-drapers and demons against each other, with players battling in settings from the story using different skills and characters.
Koyoharu Gotouge launched Demon Slayer: Kimetsu and Yaiba in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2016, and ended on 18 May. Viz Media publishes manga in English digitally and in print.
The TV anime adaptation of the manga premiered in April 2019, and it went in 26 episodes. The Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime movie opened October 16th. Funimation and Aniplex of America will show the film in theaters in North America early this year.
