Dell chose IFA 2018 to make updates to the most common Inspiron series of laptops, along with its new 14-inch convertible Chromebook and a light and sleek new display.
Despite Dell's history of having small 1
It's not as slim and shiny as competing premium Chromebooks, but the aluminum-inspiring 14-in-one convertible contains a 14-inch 1,920×1,080 pixel display with narrow ish items and the solid one solid design of the Inspiron line. The Wacom EMR pen supports the underside of the body where it is available in tablet mode.
Chromebook, and choose Inspiron models, comes in a new color, Urban Gray, which I really like as a key option for black or silver.

The Inspiron 5000 and 7000 two-in-one lines have an updated design, as well as updates to the 8th generation Intel core I processors. Perhaps most noteworthy, Dell shrunk the webcam to fit it in its thin top edge, so no more shootouts.
Again, if you care about speed than web camera rating, the 5000 Series now offers the option of discreet graphics: a Nvidia MX130 GPU, which boosts speed.
The final highlight of Dell's showdown is the company's first DisplayHDR 600 certified display, which means it can beat 600 nits peak power (typically around 250 to 300 rivets) and cover 90 percent of the DCI-P3 range. It is especially brighter in general and provides better color rendering in saturated greens and cyan than your typical display. But the S2719DC puts it in an ultra thin slim silver chassis and adds a USB-C / All-Display port so it can stream your laptop while using it.
