Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.1 is live, and “lays the foundation” for the game to be fixed

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.1 is now live on PC, as well as consoles and Stadia. Devs says that this update “lays the foundation for the upcoming updates”, and has quite a few fixes in itself, including the “various stability improvements” that we notice to connoisseurs who know and love. In more practical terms, we have improvements in memory usage, crashes and a lot of searching and save errors that are addressed.

The complete patch notes include “improvements to memory usage in various in-game systems: ratings, interactions, navigation, in-game videos (news, TV, etc.), foliage, laser effects, minimaps, devices, AI, street traffic, environmental damage system, GPU-related and more, “as well as”

; various crash corrections (related to, among other things, load saving, game opening / closing and Point of No Return). “

The update also addresses the corruption issue with saving files after the hotfix a month ago, by trimming excess file size from existing saves. This does not fix files that are already corrupted, but should make your future save a little safer.

The bulk of the patch notes have a plethora of fixes for various search bugs, and you can see all the details of those on the official website.

CD Projekt says “we will continue this work in update 1.2 and other upcoming updates. At the same time, we will continue to fix the bugs you encounter and listen to your feedback on how you can improve the overall gaming experience. ”

Cyberpunk 2077’s free DLC has been delayed in favor of more urgent updates, and there are many more issues for devs to resolve – especially when looking at our friends on consoles. For more RPG games you can follow that link.
