Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.1 is now live on PC, as well as consoles and Stadia. Devs says that this update “lays the foundation for the upcoming updates”, and has quite a few fixes in itself, including the “various stability improvements” that we notice to connoisseurs who know and love. In more practical terms, we have improvements in memory usage, crashes and a lot of searching and save errors that are addressed.
The complete patch notes include “improvements to memory usage in various in-game systems: ratings, interactions, navigation, in-game videos (news, TV, etc.), foliage, laser effects, minimaps, devices, AI, street traffic, environmental damage system, GPU-related and more, “as well as”
The update also addresses the corruption issue with saving files after the hotfix a month ago, by trimming excess file size from existing saves. This does not fix files that are already corrupted, but should make your future save a little safer.

CD Projekt says “we will continue this work in update 1.2 and other upcoming updates. At the same time, we will continue to fix the bugs you encounter and listen to your feedback on how you can improve the overall gaming experience. ”
