Cyberpunk 2077 develops CD Project Red hosts a live stream on its Twitch page, and hints that something new can be revealed about its worldwide RPG. The current is currently displaying the lines of the code printed on a screen, and there appear to be no obvious indications of when something else will be shown or what it will be. Of course, we will be glued to our screens and keep you updated about developments when they happen.
Cyberpunk 2077 was shown to press GamesCom behind closed doors and GameSpot participated. During GamesCom, CD Project Red also provided new Cyberpunk 2077 screenshots that show characters and environments from the game. These pictures were taken from the GamesCom 201
During GamesCom, we also talked to producer Richard Borzymowski, who talked about how CD Project Red Swap brings from the fantasy universe to The Witcher to the sci-fi world of Cyberpunk in 2077. He also discussed making the jump from the third-person perspective used in The Witcher series for a first person for Cyberpunk 2077. You can see the interview above.
In another interview Borzymowski Cyberpunk 2077 said playable from start to finish, but noted that it did not have all its assets, and errors discovered during game testing have not been addressed yet. Despite this, the studio is self-confident in the experience. "[Playing through the game] gives you answers to all your doubts," he said. "It just feels good."
Cyberpunk 2077 is set for launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. However, it does not have a release date yet. At the end of GamesCom we discussed some of the best games we saw during the show and Cyberpunk 2077 was included. You can see us discuss the game, along with someone else, in our Best of GamesCom 2018 feature.
