WTF ?! Google Street View vehicles have taken pictures of our roads for over ten years, and at that time they have accidentally taken photos of issues in uncompromising situations. In addition to showing people who leave strip clubs and cooperate with prostitutes, the system now appears to have led to a divorce after it had caught a woman who was intimate with a man who was not her husband.
The story involves a Peruvian man using Google Street View to investigate the best route to reach a bridge in the capital, Lima. As he moved the camera around the street, he saw a woman sitting on a bench with a man's head on her lap. While this was not normal, the user noticed that the woman was wearing clothes that seemed identical to his wife. It was because it was actually his spouse and the man who had her hair was not her husband.
Like many of the photos on Google Street View, this was taken for years since 2013 to be exact. But it seems that the couple was married at the time, so the man confronted his wife over the picture. According to local media, the woman admitted to having an affair, and the couple, which has not been named, was later divorced.
La Cronica reports that the man shared his story and photos of the event on Facebook.
Last year, news that Google Street View vehicles got their first camera upgrades in eight years, resulting in higher quality images that can capture street signs, information from store windows, and perhaps more detailed incidents of infidelity.
