It seems that the fabulous folding Galaxy phone, as many had considered to be in myths and legends, was finally confirmed by no-one other than CEO of Samsung Mobile, DJ Koh. In an interview, the CEO played the prayers on how Samsung is not just developing such a device, but also how it is racing to deliver it first in the market.
The phone has previously been rumored to be called Galaxy F a series of smartphones that Samsung had left back in 201
The fact that Samsung races to deliver this folding device first means that they are not the only ones in the race. Earlier reports have pointed out that Apple and LG have both patented a foldable display smartphone technology.
For people wondering if Galaxy F should be a one-time concept device, Koh has some news for you. "We would not have started [the project] if there would be a one-time thing." This means that we can expect Galaxy F to be a series of devices that receive annual updates like the S Series or Notes series.
The next year will be 10th anniversary of the Galaxy S series, and while we are sure S10 will have some, some new innovative features will most likely be short-lived by Galaxy F. We will update you on history when it develops.
