Capcom announces Monster Hunter Rise Day One Update, unlocks pre-orders and amiibo bonuses

When CEOs allow employees to take a day off Monster Hunter Rise, you can tell that people are happy with Capcom’s latest listing. Just before the launch, Capcom has revealed that it will release an update one day for Rise.

Comes in at 600MB, it’s thankfully quite small, and if you’ve chosen a digital copy, that provides up to 8GB of memory. Apart from some unspecified bug fixes, this update mainly gives access to content in the Deluxe set, and also unlocks pre-order and amiibo bonuses.

When you call this version 1.1.1, there is not much else here, and Capcom issued these update notes:

Main supplement / changes
*
Access to content from Deluxe Kit, as well as additional content from pre-order bonuses and amiibo bonuses.

Bug fixes / miscellaneous
*
Various bug fixes have been made.

We had good things to say in our Rise review. By awarding it 9/1

0 stars, we called it “a new high watermark for the franchise”, and other publications are also impressed. If you want to distract yourself until Friday, why not check out the latest feature in Monster Hunter’s history.
